Last Thursday afternoon, the Martin clan loaded out of the Compuware building, headed west on 94, checked in at Detroit Metro, climbed into a St. Louis bound flight, landed at Lambert, caught a shuttle to Hertz, then drove a Chevy Malibu for two hours to end up in Columbia, Mo. The reason?
Thanks Grandma Bev for the food, hospitality and kindness. Also for the 10 Matchbox cars, which as I write are littered through the living room like a demolition derby.
Glad you made it there. I can't believe how little Bev has changed.
